Welcome to pwnDesigns Forums! I know I said this wasn't going to actually be a forum, and I made the image for fun just to see what I could throw together, but I really liked the outcome and I thought I could make a design-based forum upon the idea, so here it is, don't be shy to ask questions! Happy Designing!

Herro, this is coolzor! I might actually post here often...just a quick tip though. I strongly recommend you switch to IF as soon as you can, the possibilities on that site are so much greater. The SCF$ forums are on proboards, and i so badly wish that we had changed to IF now, as the skinning is so much easier and looks much more proffesional. e.g. PB www.snurk.proboards59.com/index.cgiIF s14.invisionfree.com/SCF_SHADOWS/index.php?act=idxYou can keep the same skin and everything just edit the IF .css and html. If you want any help with that (most likely not, just ask ) But if you don't want too thats tottally cool too. I don't want to try and force you into anything. Cool forum! Koopa

Thanks for taking a look at my forum, I made it yesterday, and my first forum was with invision, though I never knew how to make skins on that, so I didn't really feel that I'd *created* the forum myself.
I made this forum just to see if I could make a decent proBoards forum, and I think this one's pretty cool, though there's several things I'd like changing.
I could switch to IF, though I don't see any point unless this forum is sucessful, but then again, learning Invision catches my attention..

The thing is, i like you started to desing a forum on proboards, but then i looked at invision free, as i'd seen some pretty cool looking IF forums.
Then when i made one, i realised how much better it was compared to proboards, the features themselves. And if you notice, almost all of the top design websites either use IF, or IBP which is the version of IF that you have to pay for.
e.g.
Chaos GFX Gamerenders Meteor Webdesign
But both forums you need to learn how to use, and you may prefer PB. I always did. But then after a few days of skinning on IF, it just seemed to be alot easier to do, and the outcome was alot better.
With IF, everything is cleaner.
I've tried to convince our leaders to change, but they feel that we are too settled into our current forum...If it was up to me, i would change in a heartbeat.

Well the reason my first forum was on Invision Free was because my brother, who works for Microsoft, ugh, said it would be much easier to understand, so I got my Invision Board and bought a domain (www.ps2hq.co.uk). Though he never told me how the skinning works on it, but I stuck with it, and the forum was a sucess for a while, until people got bored, and I'd abandonned it for proBoards. I learnt proBoards because I saw that everyone else online was using it, so I thought I'd have a go and see what I could come up with, back in the day where I used Macromedia Fireworks instead of Photoshop (a.k.a. the dark ages). PB was where I first used codes and such on a large scale. Zanmato also uses Invision, and that design board is extrememly well put together, I sat down and looked at it just trying to see how they put the whole style together, and yes it did seem a lot better than any proBoard I'd seen before. I would consider using IF again, as in just to see what I could throw together on it now, and possibly even try phpbb, which apparently is a completely different ball game altogether. The difference with Invision is that it's just a completely different system to work with than proBoards, but I guess this won't be so much of a problem

The decision is entirely up to you, but after skinning for both, i found IF to be much easier, and to be a better forum to work with in general.

I think this boards looks very nice, and that there is no need to change because it is just more work to get things set up etc
